Welcome to Travel Notes

Travel Notes is a collection of stories, pictures and tips from all the places I have visited so far.

It all started back in 2017, when I was backpacking in South, Central and North America, and I started collecting all my favourite pictures, stories, useful information I learnt and tips in a folder on my laptop that I called “Travel Notes”. As more and more friends (and friends of friends) started asking me for tips about places to visit or itineraries to follow, I decided to publish all my notes in this blog in 2018.

Travel Notes is a way to share my stories and pictures with other people, but, above all,  to try to keep the memories I make while travelling forever!

Wouldn’t you love to explore every single corner of the world?! I would! On this page you will be able to find some stories and tips from places I have visited so far divided by geographical region. This section is constantly updated, so keep an eye on it for new destinations!

What do you like?

Do you like swimming? Or do you prefer hiking? What about big cities? Regardless of what you like, in this section you will be able to find the destinations that best suits your taste! Just browse them by category by clicking on the images on the page!

When you can’t travel yourself, it’s nice to listen to stories and looking through pictures of your travelling friends. In this space, you can find some ‘postcards’ from my friends’ trips. Make sure you check them out for some inspiration for your next trip!

The reason why this blog exists is because one day, in 2017, I decided to quit my job to go see other parts of the world. This has been – as you can imagine – a life changing experience and I am so excited to share it with other people!
